Life is never dull around the Schmitz household. Saturday was our monthly trip to IKEA and my mom was able to stay with Wyatt. We thought he was on the "uphill" of his strep sickness. He had been on his antibiotics for over 24 hrs. We left early Saturday morning and were back Saturday night. We woke Sunday morning to a rash covering Wyatt's body. ;( After much contemplation we ended up at Urgent Care. By "we" I mean Wyatt and I. Mark couldn't come due to the Expedite STL pick ups. I know there are many women who take their children to the Dr. by themselves but Mark has always made it a point to be at Wyatt and my Dr. appointments. Wyatt cried and screamed...I mean screamed the entire time we were there. It was bad! By this time the rash has covered his body head to toe. We found out he was allergic to the antibiotics he was one. Ahhh....if it's not one thing it's another right?!?!!?
We were able to switch his meds. and the rash isn't spreading anymore. Hopefully he sleeps through the night tonight. The poor boy needs a good night's sleep. I know this weekend could have been way worse. This situation makes me so thankful overall we have a healthy toddler. He made it 20 months without any major sickness. We are praying for quick recovery and that we can get back to normal soon! We have a baby coming in about 8 weeks folks....we have to get moving!

Poor guy! It's hard seeing them sick! I cannot believe you are 8 weeks away from your sweet baby coming!!! Seems like a few weeks you announced you were pregnant to the blog world!!!
Oh poor thing! Y'all, I feel so bad! I am so glad he is doing better though.
I cannot believe it is only 8 weeks! I bet you are ready for that sweet baby girl to be here though :)
